Arden Dunteman, AMFT
AMFT #152699
Arden’s Statement:
I have a warm and upbeat approach. I like working with people with PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety and other problems that require patience, caring, and a cognitive behavioral (but humanistic) approach. I enjoy the LGBTQ community and come as an ally. I have had success working with younger and middle-age males who have a history of trauma, work difficulties, relational problems and sometimes drug and alcohol problems. I enjoy creating an environment where a person can feel comfortable enough to be able to share whatever it is they need to share in order to grow and release pain and move forward in life.
Gabrielle Sheets, ASW
ASW #123672
Gabrielle’s Statement:
I work well with people struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, low self esteem, trauma and domestic violence. I love working with the LGBTQ+ community.
I can help people who are overwhelmed by their symptoms and who seek support to navigate these challenges. I can provide understanding and support, and help to find ways to manage emotions, develop coping strategies, and become more empowered. Typical goals are reduce symptom impact, build resilience, improve self esteem, and achieve balance. I hope you are ready for a therapeutic journey of positive change and personal growth.
I specialize in TF-CBT and CBT. These methods address anxiety, OCD, depression, PTSD, and low self-esteem. I provide a safe space to explore feelings and behaviors. TF-CBT aids trauma processing and coping, while CBT challenges negative thoughts, builds resilience, and boosts self-esteem. My goal is to empower clients for lasting change and well-being.
I am dedicated to compassionate, culturally competent care for diverse populations. Using a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, I support healing and recovery, ensuring people feel heard and respected. I’m passionate about social justice and lifelong learning. I blend evidence-based practices with cultural insights to empower clients.
Kenneth Cohen, LMFT
LMFT #155514
Kenneth’s statement:
I have a strong belief that people are not their problems, and that it is possible to separate who a person is from their problems and join together with my clients to change the story they tell themselves about their life. I believe my job as a therapist is to challenge the client to grow.
In my experience the therapeutic relationship should be safe and inviting and that it is my job to provide a space for people to explore their hopes, worries, fears, dreams and passions. As a therapist, I strive to be a caring, compassionate and accepting companion on your journey. I also think that warmth, humor and affirmation help this process a great deal.
